Many people in the outer suburbs of Metro Detroit see coyotes coming through their yards. This one decided to roam through downtown Detroit.

DETROIT, MI — Coyote warnings come out this time of year all across Metro Detroit, but mainly in the more rural communities.

WDIV captured a wild coyote roaming around in Downtown Detroit. People are cautioned to protect small pets around coyotes as they have been known to attack. This Free Press story from 2018 documents how the attacks in the area are on the rise.
