Wayne County Police Chase: Suspects Still At-Large, Police Say
Police said three people remain at-large after leading several departments on a multi-jurisdictional chase through Wayne County.
WAYNE COUNTY, MI — Michigan State Police authorities said several breaking and entering suspects remain at-large after leading officers from several departments on a chase Sunday evening.
According to authorities, Michigan State Police troopers were contacted by the Inkster Police Department to assist with a breaking and entering and shots fired reported at an apartment complex off Hamlin Drive in Inkster. Troopers said that Inkster police confronted three people fleeing from the complex after trying to break in.
One of the suspects got into a purple Dodge Challenger and, while driving away, hit two patrol cars, troopers said. Police shot at the suspects as they drove away, according to authorities.

No injuries have been reported, police said.
The suspects were pursued by officers from several departments until they lost them, police said.

The vehicle was last spotted around 6:35 p.m. Sunday unoccupied near 7 Mile and Stout in Detroit, police said.
