Central Street Closed for Emergency Repair

Central Street is closed at the railroad tracks in the village of Dexter due to the emergency repair of a split rail.

According to village officials, the railroad has estimated that the work will be completed late Tuesday. The crossing at Broad Street is being used as the detour. The route is Central Street to Third Street to Broad Street to Huron Street and back to Central Street heading out of town.

Inbound traffic can take Central Street to Huron Street to Broad Street to Third Street and back to Central Street.
