Dexter Community Aquatic Club Swimmers Have Strong Showing at District Meet
Several swimmers ranked in the top 10 at the EGRA district swim meet in Grand Rapids on Feb. 23.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Dexter Community Aquatic Club brought its "A game" to the EGRA district swim meet at East Grand Rapids High School on Feb. 23.
The team had several athletes place in the top 10 for their respective category. Highlights include:

- Georgia Frost placed 1st in the 11-12 group for the 100-meter backstroke with a time of 1:09.67.
- Eva Gaetino placed 2nd in the 50-meter free swim, with a time of 32.29 for the 10 and under age group.
- Dylan Hutchinson placed 2nd in the 50-meter breaststroke, with a time of 40.79Y for the 11-12 age group.
- Zachary Norris placed 2nd in the 50-meter breaststroke, with a time of 47.71Y for the 10 and under age group.
- Evan McKelvey placed 5th in the 100-meter breaststroke, with a time of 1:53.97Y for the 10 and under age group.

The team will be competing in the Junior Olympics on Saturday, and the state championships on March 16.
