DHS Rugby Club Beats State Champions 30-10
Catch up on the latest action from the Dexter High School Rugby Club. In his latest blog, Michael Makin writes, "Friday night’s 290-mile round trip to Holland, Michigan, proved very well worth the effort for the Dexter Devils – Dexter Rugby Football Club’s high school team – as Dexter’s A team defeated reigning State High School Champions West Ottawa 30-10 under the lights in their new Rugby facility. Two tries each from powerful prop Zack Wallace and lightning-fast right-wing Matt Kasten, along with two conversions and two penalty goals from left-wing Corey Robinett – surely one of the best goal-kickers in the region – gave the Devils victory by a margin that surprised the DRFC coaches and delighted the numerous traveling supporters."
RydeOn!'s Mother/Daughter “Teams” Pursue Health & Fitness Together Through Indoor Cycling
In her latest blog, Brigid Lossing writes about the bond she's seeing between mothers and daughters at her business. Lossing writes, "When we started RydeOn!, we knew we wanted to create someplace that would build our community as well as our bodies. One thing we didn't anticipate, though, is the way that our studio is building families – in the form of the many family 'teams' who have been participating in our classes. We're proud and pleased to share their stories for this newsletter and in future blogs during the month of May."
