• Officials vote to end bus service pilot in Laketown Township (hollandsentinel.com) — Douglas residents already support Interurban Transit Authority service through an existing millage, while nearby Laketown Township has now voted to end its pilot contract with the bus service after funding disputes. Officials there may instead pursue a future millage and will promote Allegan County Transportation as an alternative, a shift that could affect how Douglas-area neighbors move around the region.
