Freeze Warning: When Is It Safe to Bring Plants Back Outside?
You may be able to squeeze a bit more life out of your deck plants if you take the right precautions.
A freeze warning is in effect through 10 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday, the National Weather Service said.
Temperatures are expected to fall into the upper 20s to lower 30s Saturday night, and exposed vegetation may be damaged or killed.
If you cover your plants or bring them inside, you may get a bit more life out of them. Patchy frost is in the forecast for Sunday night, but temperatures moderate at the beginning of the week, with highs in the 60s and overnight lows in 50s and 40s through Friday.
