Ferndale City Council meets Monday
Ferndale City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at Ferndale City Hall for both of its December meetings. The first meeting agenda has only one agenda item - the city's 2012 audit report - and the full agenda for the second meeting can be found here.
Board of Education meeting
The Ferndale Schools Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the Harding Administration Center. You can find the agenda here.
Coffee hours with state representative
State Representative Ellen Cogen-Lipton (D-Huntington Woods), who represents the 27th District including Ferndale, invites residents to attend her coffee hours on Monday to share their ideas and concerns. The office hours will be held from 4-6 p.m. at the Berkley Public Library located at 3155 Coolidge Hwy in Berkley. For more information, call (888) 347-8027.

Merry Midnight Madness
Thursday is Merry Midnight Madness in downtown Ferndale. Downtown businesses are expected to stay open late for the convenience of late-date holiday shoppers. For more information, call the Ferndale Downtown Development Authority at 248-546-1632.
Register for Winter Break Camp
Ferndale Recreation is offering a Winter Break Camp Dec. 26-28 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for grades K-6. Kids will have the chance to make new friends and take part in games, trips and activities.
