Get ready for the week ahead in Ferndale with these five things to know.

1. Free parking

2. Guest readers needed
Roosevelt Primary School in Ferndale is seeking community members to read to students at the school's annual Guest Reader Day on March 15. Find more information here.
3. Knitting group

4. Kindergarten enrollment
Enrollment is ongoing for Ferndale Public Schools kindergarten and preschool programs. The district's enrollment office at Harding Administration Center is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, see here or call 248-586-8686.
5. Ferndale Game Day
Learn new games and play old favorites at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Ferndale Public Library. Come alone or bring your friends and family. All ages welcome. Children under 12 should be accompanied by an adult. Find more information here.
