• Seven Races For ARCA East Tour (speedsport.com) — Flat Rock residents can look forward to a major ARCA Menards Series East race at Flat Rock Speedway on Aug. 1, 2026, aligned with the track’s 75th anniversary celebration. It will be the tour’s only national-level stock car race on NASCAR’s summertime off weekend, putting Flat Rock in a rare national spotlight.
   

• Flat Rock wideout Evan Szalay receives Michigan Sports Writers D5-6 all-state recognition (thenewsherald.com) — Flat Rock football fans have a new all-state star to celebrate: senior wide receiver Evan Szalay has been named first-team Division 5-6 all-state by Michigan sports writers after a record-breaking career for the Rams. He helped Flat Rock reach the D5 state playoffs for the fourth straight year and graduates holding school records for receptions, yards, and touchdowns while also contributing on defense.
   

• Takuma Koga Running ARCA Full Time with Fast Track (frontstretch.com) — Flat Rock race fans may remember Takuma Koga’s strong third-place finish at Flat Rock Speedway this year, which helped him secure fifth in the ARCA East standings. He’s now committing to a full 20-race ARCA Menards Series schedule in 2026 with Fast Track Racing, aiming for his best season yet.
