Her Academic Credentials include a Master of Library and Science, Drexel University, Master of Fine Art-Painting, University of Kansas, and a Bachelor of Art, Indiana University.
Her many Selected Workshops include “Making Simple Books on Voting Rights,” “Making Bags for Helping Women Period,” “Paper Weaving,” “Simple Jewelry,” and “Creating Mandalas.”
These mixed media works incorporate fiber, yarn, and fabric as well as stitching, knitting, and crochet. Reiter states “Love of color, pattern, texture and a sense of humor infuses my artwork. As a librarian, I enjoy incorporating bits and pieces from books and magazines into mixed media collages. I also enjoy learning to make my own simple books and journals. Repurposing nontraditional materials into new and unexpected fabrics and objects consistently motivates me.”
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, there will be limited capacity in the gallery and all ART Talks will be virtual. All visitors are expected to follow the MCC Standards and perform the Mandatory Health and Wellness Check before they travel to MCC. Please visit mcc.edu/reopen for up-to-date information.
