• Teamsters strike against Henry Ford Genesys Hospital continues into the holidays (wnem.com) — Nurses at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc Township are spending Christmas on the picket line, bolstered by strong solidarity from McLaren Flint nurses who donated hundreds of gifts to striking families. Union leaders say community and union support, including food and presents, is keeping morale high as they push for a contract they believe protects nurses and Genesee County patients.
