• Routes proposed for high-voltage transmission line in Eaton, Ingham, Livingston counties (michiganpublic.org) — A major new 50‑mile high‑voltage transmission line is being planned to run through northern Eaton County just southwest of Grand Ledge, potentially affecting nearby landowners and the regional grid. ITC Michigan has released two possible routes and an interactive map so residents can see if they’re in the path, and state regulators will ultimately choose the final route, with construction unlikely before 2027.
