GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Most City of Grand Rapids offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Grand Rapids Public Library also will be closed Thursday. All branches will resume normal hours Friday.
All City offices will resume normal business hours Monday, Nov. 29.
The City’s refuse, recycling and yard waste curbside collections will be delayed one day because of the holiday. Thursday’s collection will be picked up Friday and Friday’s collection will take place Saturday.
The City’s yard waste drop-off site at 2001 Butterworth St. SW will be closed Thanksgiving Day. The site will be open Friday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Â
