Here are the top stories in Grand Rapids today:
- Police have released the names of two people who were killed in a shooting at a Grand Rapids home on Stafford Avenue SW near Burton Street on the day before Thanksgiving. The two victims were identified as 34-year-old Victor Alfonso Bustamante-Meza and 23-year-old Artemio Zacarius-Ortiz. The name of the third person who was shot has not been released, but they are expected to survive. (WOODTV.com)
- The Grand Rapids History and Special Collections Department at the Grand Rapids Public Library has rebranded as the Grand Rapids History Center. The center's mission is to collect, preserve, and share the history of Grand Rapids. Located on the fourth floor of the main library, the center is free to use and is open during library hours. - Across six courtrooms, Kent County judges used their authority to make several families legal on Thursday, the county’s 25th annual Adoption Day. (WOODTV.com)
