GRPS: Celebrate Hispanic Heritage

Although we celebrate and learn about cultures through our curriculum all year long, we observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15. We celebrate the histories, cultures and contributions of citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

This year we are fortunate to have renowned author Diana Lopez and local artist, Erick Picardo provide interactive presentations to our GRPS students.

In addition, staff have received additional resources and lesson ideas to incorporate into their daily plans.
