- A new cannabis dispensary has opened on the West Side of Grand Rapids. Multi-state cannabis operator C3 Industries opened the new adult-use dispensary, High Profile, on Friday at 1148 Leonard St. NW. The store opening marks C3βs second Grand Rapids dispensary and sixth location in Michigan. (GR|MAG)
- Mercy Health Saint Mary's received national recognition, winning the title of a Top Teaching Hospital. Mercy Health Saint Maryβs was one of 72 hospitals awarded by The Leapfrog Group in the teaching hospitals category for 2021, and also was recognized for the elite award. A total of 149 health institutions were listed by the national organization, which rates hospitals on protecting patients from errors and infections, effectiveness of procedures, and other provided care.
