All staff, students and visitors are now strongly encouraged to wear masks in all indoor settings, including our facilities and student programs. The CDC, MDHHS and Kent County Health Department strongly recommend people ages 2 years and up wear masks in all indoor settings, regardless of vaccination status, in counties with “substantial” or “high” COVID-19 transmission rates. Kent County is rated as substantial as of August 9. As we have throughout this pandemic, Kent ISD will continue to follow the guidance of our public health officials.
