  1. One of the suspects in the shooting death of 20-year old Saul Espinoza after the Grand Rapids fourth of July fireworks show has agreed to a plea deal. Espinoza was among four people who were shot on July 6, 2019 in Fish Ladder Park. Ulises Ferrer has agreed to plead guilty to murder and faces a minimum 30 year sentence. (WZZM13.com)
  2. Dr. Grins Comedy Club is preparing for its last event in The B.O.B. at the end of the month, ahead of the expected sale of the building to a new owner. The club, as well as other venues and restaurants in the building at 20 Monroe Ave. NW, will be closing on Jan. 1.
