  1. A person was stabbed in Grand Rapids Wednesday afternoon. It happened around 4 p.m. on Century Avenue SW near Plett Street SW, north or Burton Street. The situation leading up to the incident was not immediately known, but Grand Rapids police said a man was stabbed. The victim’s condition is also unknown. (WOODTV.com)
  2. One Grand Rapids man has been sentenced to five years in prison after admitting to setting a business on fire. Kevin Daniel Baker admitted to breaking into Austin Jordan Engines, stealing items to support his drug addiction, setting the business on fire to hide evidence of the burglary, and driving away from the scene in a stolen car. Following the fire, Baker attempted to cash stolen checks from a local business Austin Jordan Engines. (Fox17)
  3. Proposed Martin Luther King Jr. and Cesar E. Chavez street names in Grand Rapids see an outpouring of local support. (mlive.com)
  4. A Grand Rapids man is renovating the historical former Four Star Theater and plans to open in 2023.
