Man Sues Parents Over $29K Porn Stash They Trashed: Suit

"I did you a big favor by getting rid of all this stuff," his father reportedly told him.

GRAND HAVEN, MI — An Indiana man is suing his parents, reports say, after they got rid of his porn collection. The man estimated his stash was worth $29,000, and is seeking three times that in damages from his parents, according to WILX.

The 40-year-old man, who was unnamed in reports because it is a civil case, had moved in with his parents in Grand Haven in 2016 after a divorce.

Ten months later he moved out, the WILX reported. When his parents dropped off some of his belongings at his new home in Muncie, Indiana, the man's 12 boxes of porn films and magazines were missing, the outlet says.

The man alleges they told him they destroyed the collection, which included erotica like "Big Bad Grannys" and "Frisky Business," the AP reported.

WILX reported the man filed a complaint, but the Ottawa County prosecutor declined to press charges.

About a month after moving out, reports say, he emailed his father, saying "If you had a problem with my belongings, you should have stated that at the time and I would have gone elsewhere. Instead, you choose to keep quiet and behave vindictively."

WILX reports the lawsuit as saying his father responded "Believe it or not, one reason for why I destroyed your porn was for your own mental and emotional heath. I would have done the same if I had found a kilo of crack cocaine. Someday, I hope you will understand."

"I did you a big favor by getting rid of all this stuff," the father told his son, according to the AP.
