- As audiences and families begin flocking back to theaters, the most famous reindeer of all will fly into Grand Rapids for a holiday show. "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical" will make a tour stop at DeVos Performance Hall on Nov. 22. Projections, costumes, and characters are brought to life against a backdrop of nostalgic set designs, and the cast brings energy to classic songs and dialogue, while puppets recreate the TV show’s stop-motion effects.(GR|MAG)
- The city of Grand Rapids is in its first phase of introducing community-centered participatory budgeting. The Participatory Budgeting Grand Rapids (PBGR) initiative was designed to remove barriers and ensure diverse groups and marginalized voices have a direct, equitable impact on public spending projects.
