- A teen who police say shot a 12-year-old boy in the leg last year has been sentenced to time served. Willie Bledsoe, 17, has been incarcerated for 382 days since his arrest in early September 2020. Grand Rapids police said he was 16 when he fired a gun near Calvin Avenue SE and Adams Street, striking the 12 -year-old. He was charged as an adult. (MLive.com)
- A former Kent County doctor accused of sexually assaulting a patient during an appointment has been sentenced to six to 15 years in prison, according to Kent County Prosecuting Attorney Christopher Becker. Daryl Wisdom, 66, was found guilty Friday of third-degree criminal sexual conduct and his medical doctor license was suspended. He ran his practice out of his home in the 10000 block of Cascade Road SE. (Fox17)
