  1. A family member has identified the three people found dead in a car in Grand Rapids a week ago as a 78-year-old woman, her daughter-in-law, and a child. She said the oldest of the three was her grandmother, Ruby Roberts. The others were Ellay Mae Brown, 60, and Zaida Ashford, who was 4 months old. Police are still investigating after the three were discovered in a car outside Roberts’ home. (CBS Pittsburgh)
  2. The Michigan Sports Alliance will be hosting an inaugural event, The Grand Rapids Comic Con 5K and Fun Run. Participants can dress as their favorite comic characters and take part in an untimed 5K walk or run, virtual 5K, and a quarter-mile kids’ fun run. The run will take place at 9 a.m. on Nov. 14 at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids. (GR|MAG)
  3. Johnny Brann’s Steakhouse & Grille, a Grand Rapids restaurant, recently completed a $1 million renovation project and is using their new décor to honor veterans and law enforcement. (WZZM13.com)
