  1. A Grand Rapids family is mourning the loss of two relatives who died side-by-side, and within one minute of each other, due to COVID-19. Cal and Linda Dunham had both been vaccinated and are among the rare breakthrough coronavirus cases that have ended in COVID-19 deaths. More than $1,690 of a $10,000 goal on GoFundMe has been raised for the family to pay funeral expenses. (Grand Rapids Patch)
  2. Grand Rapids locals are concerned about after-hours activity at a park up on Belknap Lookout in Grand Rapids. Residents near Reservoir Park wake to find trash left behind, including empty liquor containers and say alcohol and drug use is common after dark. Recently, locals report hearing gun shots.
