The North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement recently completed a one-year review of Our Lady Star of the Sea School and granted continued accreditation.
The accreditation last five years before a school must undergo a new review for re-accreditation. The organization that grants the accreditation ensures schools are focusing on continual improvement an high quality education, according to a release from the school.
Our Lady Star of the Sea has been accredited since 1998 and the accreditation shows the school's commitment to the continual focus on improving student performance in a quality learning environment, Principal Julie Aemisegger said in a written release.
