Farms Detective John Walko said the man is likely responsible for a break-in and navigation theft from a Jeep in the parking lot of Biggby Coffee earlier this month.Β

Meanwhile, Woods police are investigating a series of break-ins May 10-15 in which at least six similar crimes were reported. The removal of equipment in the Woods has been careful in the sense that the criminal is disconnecting wires in an effort to keep the systems all intact. There is also some effort in breaking the windows in a quiet manner, as some of the cars hit have been parked in busy areas and the crimes have happened in the middle of the day.Β

Walko said surveillance videos are being reviewed from area businesses to see if anything was caught on camera from today's most recent crime. Many of the vehicles are Chryslers but a few GMC Yukons have been targeted. The Chryslers range from minivans to 300s to Commanders.Β

Walko said this is the time when everyone needs to do their part by keeping an eye out and alerting police to anything that seems out of the ordinary, emphasizing all calls regarding anything suspicious are investigated.Β
