Arthur Rathbun Asks Confession Be Tossed, Claims Inmates Tricked HIm

Arthur Rathburn, a Grosse Pointe Park man about to stand trial for selling body parts, sometimes without consent from families, and some of which were full of infectious disease to medical schools, claims inmates fooled him into a false confession.

The Detroit Free Press reports:

“According to Howarth, Rathburn was conned by fellow inmates into believing that if he came clean with his crimes, the Department of Justice would get him out of prison, transport him to the Middle East, where he would use his biomedical expertise to help fight terrorism and infiltrate Hezbollah.”
