Watch GPWSLL in the Little League Regional Final at Grosse Pointe Woods City Hall

Family, fans and friends of the Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores Woods Little League who can't make it Indianapolis Saturday for the Little League Great Lakes Regional Tournament final can cheer on the team at Grosse Pointe Woods City Hall.

A tent was erected on the front lawn of city hall, and the ESPN telecast of the game at 1 p.m. Saturday will be projected on the tent wall.

There will be picnic tables to watch the team take on Jackie Robinson West from Chicago for a berth in the Little League World Series.

Attendees are urged to bring their own lawn chairs, picnic baskets, peanuts and popcorn to watch the game.

"The kids got this far in the tournament," said Vicki Granger, who organized the event. "It is nice to get together and cheer them on."

The GPWSLL qualified for the final with a 5-4 victory Thursday over Hamilton West Side All-Stars. A three-run home run by Tommy Maxey propelled the team to victory.
