Update: Woods Police Seek Suspects in Armed Robbery

Grosse Pointe Woods police are investigating a reported armed robbery Thursday night in the area of Bournemouth Road.and Mack Ave., according to a Nixle alert.

Two black males described as 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing dark clothing, pointed a nickel- or silver-plated handgun at an employee of St. John and demanded his backpack, cell phone and wallet, according to Director of Public Safety Andrew Pazuchowski.

The employee was ordered into a backyard, and the victim stayed in the yard until the suspects had fled the area. The victim did not hear a vehicle, and believed the suspects fled on foot.
