2. Grosse Pointe Woods residents, especially those who live in the neighborhood plagued by power outages, tonight is . The meeting begins at 7 p.m. outside council chambers with a formal council meeting to follow.

3. Ahead this week are . The finalists, Matt Outlaw and Cathryn Anderson, both hold doctorate degrees and are currently assistant principals. Outlaw is at North and Anderson is in Farmington Public Schools. The receptions are Tuesday beginning at 5:30 p.m.

4. The first Shores-Pointes Adventure Triathlon drew participants of all ages this weekend. Participants kayaked, ran and biked in the triathlon, which organizers are hopeful will become an annual event. Check out and a about it.
