1. Temperatures continue falling. Today is expected to be mostly sunny, according to the National Weather Service, with a high near 83. The low tonight is about 65 and then Wednesday begins to heat back up. 

2. Grosse Pointe Park council is the being sent to Gov. Rick Snyder regarding a calling for the current single district representing the Grosse Pointes and Harper Woods to be divided into two districts. 

3. Have the acting urge? Give it a try, literally, with Grosse Pointe Theatre. Aug. 5 and 6 for their next production, Talking Headstones. 

4. A . They eventually agreed in a 6:0 vote to have administration work with the policy committee to review ideas and ways to help offer at risk children districtwide. 

5. Grosse Pointe Park resident Rosemary Tokatlian . Ultimately her boat, the Blitz, had to retire from the race because it began taking on water. Read her updates from before the race began all the way through getting it back to land.
