Five things to get your day started in Grosse Pointe.

Here are a few things that'll hopefully be helpful in getting the day started.

1. The weather will cool a bit after a cold front moved in Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures are still expected to reach the 70s with sunny, clear conditions.

2. The Michigan Department of Education released results from the Michigan Merit Exam Tuesday and Grosse Pointe shows slight improvement from last year. The district's proficiency and advanced rate is also higher than the state average.
