GPNspire, Play by Grosse Pointe Theatre and Other Items Planned for This Weekend

Here are some events to add to your weekend calendar:

• Grosse Pointe Theatre's performance of 84 Charing Cross Road continues Thursday - Sunday. The Sunday show is at 2pm. The Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows are at 8pm. 84 Charing Cross Road is staged in the Fries Auditorium of the Grosse Pointe War Memorial, 32 Lake Shore Road, Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan 48236.
• Grosse Pointe North will host GPNspire, an event where kids animate the ideas that spark their curiosity and invigorate others at 7 p.m. Friday.
• Grosse Pointe South Cheerleaders will host a holiday fundraiser Saturday.
• Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish will host "The Taste," which is an evening of food samplings and wine tastings Saturday. For tickets, and information, visit the parish website.
