Grosse Pointe Patch Editor to Guest Host WDET Craig Fahle Show This Morning
Grosse Pointe Patch Editor Sara Eaton Martin will discuss issues facing the community and interview a Grosse Pointe Woods resident who built a nonprofit from the ground up, which is now in its 12th year and has served 700 children.

Tune in to WDET 101.9FM at 10 a.m. to hear Grosse Pointe Patch Editor Sara Eaton Martin guest-host the Craig Fahle Show.

She will also interview Kristy Schena, a Grosse Pointe Woods resident, who founded the nonprofit Kids On The Go summer camp. The camp serves children who need summertime therapy in the areas of speech, occupational, physical, musical and art, which helps fill the gap between school years.Â

Schena founded the program in 1999 and it's grown from serving 25 students in its first year to 165 students this year with a waiting list. The camp is free--a goal Schena is always working toward by organizing fundraising events throughout the year--to help ease the burden of the parents.Â
Following Martin's half-hour guest-hosting, Dearborn Patch Editor Jessica Carreras will also guest-host for half an hour beginning at 10:30 a.m.
