North - South Girls Hockey to Play on Comerica Park Rink
The North-South rivalry reaches new heights Wednesday as the girls hockey teams from both schools take the ice at Comerica Park.
Whenever Grosse Pointe North takes on Grosse Pointe South in sports it's a big deal.
On Wednesday, when the varsity girls hockey teams meet it will be on one of the biggest stages - or rinks - in hockey when they take the ice at 8:30 a.m. at Comerica Park.
The game is one of the preview games leading up to the Alumni Showdown between the Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs. Tickets are $10 and available through the GP South Booster Club, or by contacting the Grosse Pointe North Athletic Department for ticket information.
