North to Host District Basketball Tourney
Grosse Pointe North and Grosse Pointe South will meet in district semifinal game on Wednesday night at GPN.
will host a Class A girls basketball district tournament starting on Monday.
In the quarterfinals, St. Clair Shores Lakeview will take on Detroit Denby on Monday at 6 p.m. at GPN.
The winner of that game will play East Detroit on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the semifinals.

The second semifinal Wednesday will pit against host Grosse Pointe North in a showdown between the two rivals.
Grosse Pointe South claimed a share of the Macomb Area Conference White Division championship, and Grosse Pointe North finished third in the MAC Red Division, according to the Macomb Area Conference website.

The semifinal winners will play in the district championship game on Friday at 6 p.m. at GPN.
Meanwhile, will begin play in the Class C district tournament at Mount Clemens on Monday at 5:30 p.m. against Harper Woods Heart Academy.
