Park Outage Remains for 1,404 Customers
Most of the outages in the City and Farms have been restored, meanwhile the section of Grosse Pointe Park and a small area of Detroit remain without power.

About 4,000 customers throughout the metro Detroit are still awaiting , including 1,404 in Grosse Pointe Park and a few blocks into Detroit.Â
Currently, there is not an estimation about when the power will be restored but DTE crews were spotted in and around the Park and neighboring Detroit throughout Tuesday.Â
The area that remains without power has , including the most recent stating at the latest it would be . The outage map late Tuesday however, no longer includes that estimation.Â

Residents have begun throwing out food and are still cleaning up throughout the Pointes from Saturday's storm laced with damaging winds, hail and lightening.Â
Police throughout the Grosse Pointes were alerted to several false alarms during the storm and responded to other problems. In , public safety officers helped two individuals struggling from the storm.Â

In the first case, a man was taken to the hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning after he was found in a state of disorientation. He had been trying to operate a generator in his basement, according to Lt. James Smith. Another woman who is dependent on an oxygen machine was taken to the hospital in order to make it operable with electricity.Â
Smith said the Park had to also place several temporary stop signs throughout the city due to traffic signals without power.Â
They also addressed 12 downed or arcing wires in the wake of the storm as well as many downed trees that caused damage to homes, vehicles and re-routed traffic by blocking some streets, according to Smith.
