PetPeople Comes to Grosse Pointe Woods

A new pet store opened Friday in a formerly vacant storefront at 19391 Mack Ave. in Grosse Pointe Woods.

This is the second PetPeople store in Michigan for owners Michael and Trish Elkind, who are Michigan natives.

PetPeople features products for dogs, cats, smaller pets and a pair of self-serve dog washes in the store.

Additionally, PetPeople will donate 10 percent of purchases Saturday and Sunday to the Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption Society.
