Site Plans for Businesses in the Village to be Considered, Request to Hold a Charity Run and Church Festival Coming up This Week

Municipal meetings and a church festival are among the events coming up this week in the Pointes.

Here are some events to add to your calendar this week:

  • The Grosse Pointe Woods City Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. Monday in City Hall. Among the items to be considered include the designation of voting delegates for the Michigan Municipal League.
  • The Grosse Pointe Farms City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in City Hall. Among the items to be considered including the award of a sewer rehabilitation contract and a request by the Grosse Pointe South Booster Club to hold “Run the Pointe” on Oct. 12.
  • The City of Grosse Pointe City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in City Hall. Among the items to be considered include site plans for Bruegger’s, EL’s Unique Boutique, Village Palm, Neighborhood Club and TCBY. There will also be a presentation of revised concept for Border’s building use by St. John. 
  • The Grosse Pointe Woods Presbyterian Church will hold a summer festival from 1 - 4 p.m. Sunday.
