VillageFest Needs a Few Good Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to work the festival, previously called "Grosse Pointe's Greatest Block Party," on Sunday and for the classic car show on both Saturday and Sunday.

VillageFest is just around the corner, and the annual event still could use some volunteers.

Approximately two dozen people already have volunteered to work VillageFest, which takes place on Saturday, Sept. 8, and Sunday, Sept. 9 in the of Grosse Pointe.

But more volunteers still are needed for the event, previously called "," which features food, live music, a classic car show, an art fair and more.

Lucy Ament, who is in charge of volunteers, said VillageFest could particularly use volunteers for Sunday and for the classic car show on both Saturday and Sunday.
