• Russian Cargo Jet Grounded 16 years in Michigan May Soon Fly Again (insurancejournal.com) — For 16 years, a massive Russian cargo jet has sat grounded at Marquette Sawyer Regional Airport in Gwinn, costing its owners monthly storage fees while courts and creditors battled over it. Now that ownership is settled and demand for cargo planes has surged, engineers are expected to inspect the aircraft so it can be sold, restored, and finally flown out of Gwinn.
