2 Women Dead, 3-Year-Old Girl Hurt In Oakland County Crash: Police

Investigators do not believe the passengers were wearing seatbelts.​

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, MI — Two women were killed and a 3-year-old girl was injured in a crash Saturday afternoon in Waterford Township, according to police.

The crash happened at 5 p.m. on Jones Road near Hatchery Road in Waterford Township, according to police.

Police said a 42-year-old woman was speeding in a 2019 Polaris-RZR north on Jones Road where it left the roadway and crashed into a tree.

Both passengers, a 31-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl, were ejected from the vehicle while the 42-year-old woman was trapped inside the vehicle, according to police.

The 42-year-old woman was killed in the crash, according to police.

The 31-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl were taken to nearby hospitals where the 31-year-old died, according to police.

The 3-year-old girl is expected to make a full recovery, according to police.
