Lutz Get Together and More This Weekend

Patch is here to make your life ridiculously easy, so as you sit down today and plan your weekend, here are three events you should know about in the Hartland area.

1. Lutz Get Together

• When: Saturday, June 1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 
• Where: Lutz County Park
• What: Learn about high flying raptors with Alexandria’s Nature Bus or visit a professional bee keeper that will be excited to show you all of the tricks of the trade and may have some sweet treats to boot. The Michigan Barn Preservation Network will be raising a demonstration size barn where you can choose to take part or watch as images of our heritage come to life! Some food concessions will be available but you are also welcome to bring a lunch to have a picnic. 

2. Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides Walk

• When: Saturday, June 1 starting at 10 a.m. 
• Where: Hartland Educational Support Service Center track
• What:  Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest national fundraising event. More than 250,000 walkers come together each year as one community for one cause…to help find a cure for CF. 

3. Hartland High School 2013 Baccalaureate Service

• When: Sunday, June 2 at 4 p.m.
  
• Where: Hartland High School
• What: The baccalaureate is a farewell addressed in the form of a contemporary service delivered to the graduating class in connection with their commencement ceremonies.  It is held the Sunday before graduation.  This optional graduation activity is a non-denominational service planned and presented by the students.
