Warmer Weather Student Dress Code Reminder

As the temperature starts to rise, students are reminded to dress appropriately for school.

As temperatures climb this week, students need to remember to keep their wardrobes "cool" to avoid breaking public school dress codes.

It might be a good time to review the dress code with your student (and avoid getting a phone call to bring a change of clothes.

Hartland Consolidated Schools

  • Mini-apparel, cut-offs, see-through clothing (including holes), tube tops, and halter tops are prohibited. 
  • Pants or shorts should appropriately cover undergarments to avoid the appearance of  “sagging”.
  • No skin-tight clothing such as spandex and/or yoga pants.
  • All tops must have a sleeve; cap sleeves are allowed.
