Pleasant girls open season with a win, Montabella boys start 2-0 (themorningsun.com) — Ithaca High’s boys basketball team fell 64-45 to Montabella, dropping the Yellowjackets to 0-3 after a tough third quarter where they were outscored 26-4. Jaxon Whitmore led Ithaca with 11 points, while Montabella’s Mason Bogart poured in 20, including five three-pointers, to push the Mustangs to a 2-0 start.
