• Training a robot, one fish at a time, in Hour of AI (schoolnewsnetwork.org) — Students at Kent City Elementary are training simple AI “robots” to spot fish versus trash, giving local fifth-graders a hands-on introduction to how artificial intelligence really works. With support from Kent ISD and visiting policymakers, Kent City Community Schools are building a thoughtful AI framework that emphasizes ethics, bias, and keeping human relationships central to learning.
