• Flivvers go 1-1 below the bridge (ironmountaindailynews.com) — Kingsford’s Flivvers hockey team split two games at the Bay City Showcase, edging Tri Valley 2-1 before falling 5-2 to Midland despite outshooting the Chemics. Strong goaltending from Alex Hemgren highlighted Friday’s win, while Kingsford’s offense generated chances in both contests. The Flivvers now return home to host Antigo Friday and Fenton Saturday’s Teddy Bear toss game.
