• The Giving Corner: A Grand Blanc Survivor's Journey Home (ldsdaily.com) — After surviving a devastating attack and enduring 25 surgeries, Benjamin Phelps has finally come home to Linden where a police escort and neighbors lined up to welcome him. The Grand Blanc-area church member and his family credit faith, medical teams, and community support for his progress, though they still face a long recovery and ongoing medical expenses. Residents can continue supporting them through prayers and an open GoFundMe. 
• Eagles lose tight one vs. Milford, 38-36 (tctimes.com) — Linden High’s varsity boys basketball team dropped a nail-biter at home to Milford, 38–36, after briefly taking the lead late in the fourth quarter. Despite strong play from Ryan Nosek and key moments from several Eagles, turnovers and cold shooting proved costly. Linden now turns its attention to a home Flint Metro League matchup against Holly on Friday night.
