5 Hurt, Including Two Kids, In Macomb County Crash: Police
Investigators do not believe alcohol played a role in the crash.
CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Three adults and two kids were injured in a Saturday crash in Macomb County, according to police.
The crash happened at 7:48 p.m. at the intersection of 21 Mile and Gratiot Avenue in Chesterfield Township, according to police.
Officers found a Toyota pickup and a Chevy Blazer SUV with heavy front end damage from the crash, according to police.

Three people inside the Toyota were treated and released from a nearby hospital, while a 9-year old-boy, who was also inside the Toyota, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was in stable condition, according to police.
The driver of the Chevy Blazer was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
